Lancashire Laminators are Decorative Print Finishers. We offer a range of coating services to printers and other customers to enhance the look, feel, and strength of print.
Based in Darwen, near Blackburn, we are ideally located just beside the motorway network and we are less than an hour from Liverpool, Manchester, and Leeds. We are happy for our customers and prospective customers to visit us at any time, but we are equally happy to visit you.
It’s the personal service that counts?
Lancashire Laminators was established in 1987 by Steve and Sharon Ollerton, and continues to be managed by them today. Both our Production Manager, Tom Cook, and Production Co-ordinator, Alan Costello, have been with us for over 10 years, and when you call us your initial point of contact will be one of the four of us. You can be assured that your call will not only be answered promptly, but by someone who is knowledgeable about your requirements. Of course, you can e-mail us or fax us if you wish, but for individual service and advice you can’t beat the personal touch of a phone conversation.
It’s the speed of service that counts?
We have three Ecotack laminating machines, and two Sakurai screen cylinder presses, which we operate on a double shift pattern. This enables us to offer our customers both high capacity for long-run jobs and a great deal of flexibility to fit in those on fire jobs which are a feature of our industry. We have three vans to complete the service and we collect and deliver not only in Lancashire, but also throughout Merseyside and Greater Manchester, and also in Cumbria and Yorkshire. We are happy to deliver on to other print finishers in these areas on your behalf.
It’s the quality and reliability that count?
Because of our policy of continual re-investment, all our machines are less than 10 years old, indeed our most recent machine is only two years old. More importantly, our two shift supervisors, Chris Eccleston and Paul Marsden, have each been with us over fifteen years, and this gives us absolute confidence both in the quality of work we produce, and in our turnaround estimates. You will find that when we give you a promise, you can rely on it completely. Unlike some trade suppliers, we will always give you an honest assessment even though it may not always be what you want to hear. And as BPIF members, and we take pride in dealing honestly and fairly with our customers at all times.
